What safety measures is Nirvana taking against Covid-19?

Nirvana Airlines is taking extra precaution due to the current pandemic. We have enhanced cleaning and disinfection on our aircrafts and at airports. We also require travelers to wear a face covering or a mask while on board to further avoid the spread of Covid-19. In order to learn more information, visit our Covid-19 page.

Does Nirvana Airlines allow pets?

Nirvana Airlines only allows one emotional support animal per passenger. In addition to following DOT guidelines, animals must be able to fit on your lap, at your feet, or under the seat without blocking the aisle. The airline does not allow insects, hedgehogs, or goats. Passengers need to provide a reservation agent with a doctor’s note within 48 hours of a flight, as well as a form before you board the flight, which can be found at the airport. The carry-on pet fee is $60.

What are the guidelines about carry-on baggage?

Customers flying Economy are allowed 1 carry-on in addition to a personal item (such as a purse or a briefcase). Customers flying First Class are allowed 3 carry-on in addition to a personal item. Your carry-on luggage shouldn't exceed 22 x 14 x 10 in/ 56 x 36 x 23 cm. This includes handles and wheels. Additionally, when traveling with a pet, the kennel or container counts as your carry-on. Pet fees still apply. For more information about checked baggage and baggage fees, visit our Services page.

Is food allowed on the flights?

Nirvana Airlines does not permit passengers to bring food through the security checks. However, food/beverages that are purchased at the gate are allowed onto the flight. In addition, passengers are provided with a menu once aboard the aircraft, and may purchase food through the airline.
